Treasure is the overarching concept
for the 2018-2019 first graders at Seabury School.
We'll start the year with lots of treasure hunts.
We'll talk about what a treasure is.
We'll discover the who, what, when, where, why, and how of Explorers.
We'll gain map skills.
We'll learn about navigation.
We'll read about Vikings, myths, and trolls.
This book shelf is full of treasures and so is the treasure chest!
Is there more to Marco Polo than playing tag in a swimming pool?
Aye! We'll discover what a real pirate is and keep a reading log while we're at it.
We'll go on many Math and Science Adventures aboard the S. S. Seabury
We each need a treasure box for our gold coins.
