Ms. Wollum, our head of school, came in and inspired us through her lesson on being an inventor. We then did the following steps and now have an amazing Invention Convention in our classroom!
- Identifying Coming up with several problems and choosing one to take through the invention process.
- Understanding Thinking of a unique solution.
- Ideating Developing a project plan for the invention.
- Designing Drawing a "blue print" of the invention.
- Building Constructing a prototype in the MakerSpace.
- Testing Seeing how the invention works and revising the design as needed.
- Communicating Coming up with a name, making an advertisement poster, presenting it to others, and making a sign for our Invention Convention exhibit in our classroom.
